Here you can find information on events we've organised in the past:

Europunk Fest VII

Fest number seven wasn't the crowdiests of gigs, but the quality of the performances was once again high. We had three bands playing three different styles.

Antillectual played an awesome set as we've grown used to from these guys. They played a couple of new songs combined with songs from their Silencing Civilization release. They will release their new album Waves in 2008: be sure to check them. Best punk rock band from Holland.

Next up was energetic metalcore act Reason To Kill. This was the last show with their bass player Samir and thus the last show in a while for the band. They played an energetic and very heavy set, with the highlight being their cover of Beasty Boys' Intergalactic. Awesome. If metalcore is your thing, you might want to check RTK: on they are at the top of their game and their genre.

The closing band of the evening was old school hardcore act Said And Done. Although they were one guitar player short and most of the crowd had already gone home, they still managed to convince the remaining people there. Their strong energetic hardcore set closed the evening.

Unfortunately; Outlive had to cancel their performance.

Europunk Fest VI

Fest six was a nice themed Europunk Event: we went poppy. Even though the crowd turn up was meager (Damn you Tilburg; wake up!) the performances from the bands were once again more than up to par.

Evening openers Solitus showed the crowd melodic Californian skate-punk is still alive after the 90's. Their set consisted out of catchy, driving songs that reminded me of the likes of No Use For A Name and NOFX. Pure fun.

The second band of the evening was Mid Air Collision from Belgium. The band, sporting former Nailpin singer Nico, played a set consisting of hardcore fueled pop songs. Catchy and energetic at the same time. They will release their new single soon, so be on the lookout for that one on MTV / TMF / JIM as it's sure to blow up.

Our headliners Destine closed the evening with an awesome set brim filled with far too catchy power pop songs. The band formed around frontman and songwriting Robin showed they are more than a backing band. The band sounded as complete and polished as a band with this kind of sound can sound in a venue like Little Devil. You can still download their debut EP for free: something you should definitely do right away.

Europunk Fest V

We organized Fest 5 in cooperation with Little Devil. It carried the Europunk name, but our involvement was limited to picking support bands. The turn up was drastically low though; a meager number of five people showed up to this free show. I once again blame the city (shitty) of Tilburg for totally lacking a scene. It was a nice chance for the bands to rehearse for a limited live audience.

Openers Press For Go played a furious set of hardcore songs, with their frontman bouncing up and down the walls. He definitely had all the room to do so. Fun set; fans of the Comeback Kid should take note.

New Pokerface are the new local melodic punk heroes from Breda. Even though that did not mean that many people from Tilburg came out to see where that reputation comes from, they did manage to convince on stage again. I still think the vocals need improvement, as they are too out of tune for me to really enjoy their set. I do think that they have high potential and I'm therefore very curious how 2008 will work out for them; it should mark the release of their debut full length album. Until then you can download their EP for free at their website.

Headliners Robolint from the UK closed the evening on a hilarious note. It's debatable whether their music is of any level of quality. It's crystal clear however that these guys know how to have a good time on stage and entertain the crowd. Their music is best described as hyper fast ska-core with a frantic saxophone and hilarious lyrics. The highlight of their set was the wiggle pit where they had everybody in the venue lay down on the ground to explode in moshing movement when they started playing. Robolint was awesome! Go see them live.

Europunk Fest IV

Fest 4 was once again a fest held at the might Boulevard in Breda. For a weekday, the turn-up was very nice; at least 50 people in the venue enjoying three great bands all playing a different kind of music.

Belgian openers Richie Don't Die played an energetic set of old school punk. They might want to work on their stage performance a bit, but musically you'll get tight, in your face punk songs. For the fans of old I guess. They'll be playing loads of shows in 2008 I presume, so go check them out if heavy punk is your thing.

Van Dyck Brown was a last minute addition to the bill. The locals from Breda did manage put on an awesome set even though they hadn't played in a while. Although their music isn't quite punk, it is rocking though. They playing a set full of alternative rock songs and closed with a couple of Incubus covers. Their own material resembled Incubus as well; so if that's your thing you should check this band out. Extremely tight performance and an excellent singer. These guys have potential.

Last but not least: Pickled Dick. Their second show in Breda was also one of their longest and best in a while. You know what to expect from these Brits: very catchy and melodic poppy punk songs. They played some new songs as well that sounded promising. Check this band live. The should have a new album coming out early 2008, so be sure to check that if Green Day / Frenzal Rhomb and others in that genre is your thing.

Unfortunately; Discourse Avenue had to cancel their performance.

Europunk Fest III

Our first own fest in Tilburg wasn't too successful in numbers, but musically I couldn't have been better. Mindsupply's second appearance at an EP fest was extremely tight and energetic. July Knives and Smash The Statues only added up to the high level of the evening. Our Swedish headliner The Indecision Alarm closed the evening with one hell of an energetic set. Another fine Europunk gig!

Europunk Fest II

Our second festival took place on the 2nd of May and was once again a success. About 100 people showed up to the gig to see five bands tearing the venue apart. Press For Go had their hometown debut and played a nice set of energetic hardcore songs. Nijmegen's 1000 Miles Ahead makes life a little easier after the demise of Good Riddance, where Delychees are just in for a good fun show. Monomania brought the rockier side of the evening. Our headliner Pickled Dick surprised everybody by actually being an awesome pop-punk band, rather than a juvenile excuse for a band. To all bands and everybody who showed up: thanks for coming!

Kerstifest

The Kerstifest on the 23rd of December was the first event that was organised by Europunk. We had the help of our friends Bart-Jan and Mark. This kind of christmas themed event was a great succes with over 150 visitors. We had five excellent bands playing who are all worth checking out. The metalcore band Mindsupply played their first gig ever at our little fest and did an excellent job. The german rockers RUST delivered a solid performance. Young band Mid Air Collision treated us with hardcore loaded pop-punk, which was a real treat. Local rockers Down Under and Holland's most solid punks Antillectual closed the fun evening. Thanks to all bands for playing and everybody who visited our first event.

Okploïde & Antillectual at 013, Tilburg

Gig we did in cooperation with 013 Tilburg. French ska-punk band Okploïde teamed up with Holland's skate-punks Antillectual to play an amazing show, which was a lot of fun and was very well recieved by the visitors.
